Drivers: An Overview
Our delivery service is powered by our fleet of drivers. We employ about a dozen drivers staffing 6/7 throughout the day. The first hour or two open we often only have one driver, which can mean slightly longer wait times if we get early orders on opposite sides of our radius. Once fully drivered the only thing slowing down your wait times is a high volume of orders. Delivery’s not their only Scootery role. Drivers also pick up supplies we need once open as well. Most often bananas since we go through an estimated 100 lbs. of bananas a week. The Medford Whole Foods is our normal supplier so if you have ever been there and noticed a lack of bananas that was us…sorry. In conclusion, we owe our drivers a lot, would not be where we are without them and, love them very much.
