Two years ago we opened our Arlington storefront, after over a year and a half operating fully out of a food truck. March 2016, after four months of working on the store to get it up to snuff, it was time to open our doors.
Those first few months and whole year gave us a slew of new challenges. Some we fixed quickly, others took more time and work to make right.
The biggest hurdle was our first summer, figuring out what we needed for staffing and equipment to fully function as both a delivery and walk-in joint. We employed limited walk-in hours to give us a chance get a footing in the new space. We, of course, understand how that was irksome for the neighborhood and thank you guys for bearing with us. Hopefully, you bare with us for many more sundaes.

Celebrating milestones like a business anniversary is more than just marking time—it’s about reflecting on growth, community, and the journey that brought everyone together. These moments highlight resilience and shared success, reminding us why the work matters. It feels a lot like playing Slope game, where every twist demands balance and focus—steady moves keep you on track, and persistence ensures you reach the finish with pride.
Happy anniversary! It's inspiring to see how far you've come, from operating a food truck to building a successful storefront. Overcoming challenges and continuing to grow is a huge achievement, and your appreciation for the community really stands out. When I'm taking a break, I also enjoy playing Geometry Dash Lite - it's a fun rhythm game that's perfect for a few quick, exciting sessions.
